We are delighted to inform you that we have recived official letter from GOK that Er. Shrikant Channal has been nominated as the President of the Karnataka Council of Professional Civil Engineers (KCPCE) by the Government of Karnataka.

This prestigious appointment marks a historic step in the implementation of the Karnataka Professional Civil Engineers Act. It is a proud moment for all civil engineers across the state, and a strong recognition of our profession’s value and contribution to society.

The team of engineers from the Karnataka Professional Civil Engineers Steering Consortium, Bangalore, under the leadership of President Er. Srikant Channal, General Secretary Er. Ajitkumar S. M., and Er. Ramesh Jangal, today met IT icon Sri N. R. Narayana Murthy ji and renowned philanthropist & MP Smt. Sudha Murty ji in Bangalore.
On 10 June 2025, Er Suryaprakash, Er Dr Anil Joseph, Er Dr M R Kalgal, Er Shrikant S Channal, Er Kashiram, Er D Murugan, Er Shashikanth Jadhav, and Er Anand Tripati—had the opportunity to meet with Niti Aayog Member Dr V K Saraswat at the Niti Aayog office. The discussion was highly productive, and our concerns were given thorough consideration.
Civil Engineers Delegation, Led by KPCEA-SC, Meets Hon’ble Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan Ji. The delegation comprised Er. Shrikant Channal, Er. Ajitkumar S. M., Er. Rajgopal, Dr. M. U. Ashwath, Er. Garudhwajan, Er. Prashanth Lokapur (Hubballi), Er. Murugan (Puducherry), Er. Mahesh Tandon, Er. Manoj Mitral (New Delhi), Er. Rehaman (U.P.), and Er. Surya Prakash (Hyderabad).
Delegation comprising members from ACCEI, KPCEA-SC, IASTRUCTE, APGCE, and other associations is at the residence of Shri Dharmendra Pradhan to discuss and apprise him of the concerns regarding the proposed amendments to the Architects Act.
Fruitful Meeting with Hon’ble Minister Shri Prahlad Joshi Ji. A delegation of civil engineers had a constructive and encouraging discussion with Shri Prahlad Joshi Ji at his residence in Delhi.
Meeting with Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy ji in Delhi on June 4,2025. The civil engineers’ delegation met Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy ji, Hon’ble MP and former Chief Minister of Karnataka, in Delhi and requested his intervention to stop the proposed amendment to the Architects Act, 1972.
